Every finish on this page is hand-applied by our team of Melbourne-based artisan plasterers, using materials sourced from established European and Australian suppliers. Venetian Plaster
Our signature finish: slaked lime putty and marble dust, hand-burnished in multiple thin layers to a smooth, luminous, marble-like surface. Ideal for feature walls, hallways and living areas, Venetian plaster is available in polished and matte variants and can be tinted to almost any colour to suit a room's palette.
Microcement
A seamless, ultra-thin cement overlay applied to floors, walls, showers and joinery with no grout lines or joins. Popular in Melbourne kitchens and bathrooms for its clean, contemporary look, microcement can often be applied directly over existing tiles, reducing demolition time on renovation projects.
Clay Plaster
A natural, breathable finish with excellent humidity-regulating and acoustic properties, prized for its warm, earthy texture in bedrooms and living spaces. Clay plaster is a favourite among health-conscious homeowners for its low-VOC, natural composition and soft, matte appearance.
Tadelakt
Traditional waterproof Moroccan lime plaster, hand-burnished to a soft sheen — the finish of choice for showers, bathrooms and other wet areas. Once sealed, tadelakt forms a fully waterproof, seamless surface that resists mould and mildew far better than grouted tile.
Metal Coatings
Decorative metallic and oxidised finishes that bring an industrial, sculptural edge to feature walls and architectural surfaces. From brushed steel to living copper and rust patinas, metal coatings suit commercial fit-outs and statement residential walls alike.
Textured Plaster
Custom texture and colour combinations, hand-applied to create sculptural depth that paint and wallpaper cannot replicate. Every textured finish is built up in layers and worked by hand, giving each wall a genuinely one-of-a-kind character.
Beyond Paint: Surfaces Built to Last
Decorative finishes like Venetian plaster, microcement, and tadelakt are applied in multiple hand-worked layers rather than rolled on in one coat. This build-up of material is what gives each surface its depth, texture, and durability — qualities that a flat coat of paint cannot replicate, no matter the sheen or colour.
Because these finishes are mineral or cement-based rather than film-forming like paint, they resist chipping, peeling, and fading over time. Many, including tadelakt and microcement, can also be sealed to a fully waterproof standard, making them practical for bathrooms, kitchens, and high-traffic commercial spaces as well as feature walls.
